PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for such complex control of spike of magnetic brush layind down, and to miniaturize an image forming device. SOLUTION: This is an image forming device comprising one image carrier body, one writing means, and a selection means where plural image forming units, which have plural development means for processing development to obtain a toner image by clearly developing with a developing solution an electro- static latent image formed by the above writing means on the image carrier body by one developing roller, are arranged at predetermined intervals along the same running surface as the intermediate transfer belt on which the toner image on the image carrier body is to be transferred, and the development processings by each development means of these respective image forming units are selected. In this case, the image forming device is provided with one development bias supplying means (3 or 4) for supplying a development bias voltage to the development roller means, and a development bias changing-over means (5 or 6) for changing over the development bias voltage supplied from the development bias supplying means (3 or 4) to a development means for processing development by being selected by the selection means. |
