PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive various digital broadcast signals by providing a selecting means which selects one transport stream out of the output signals of receiving and demodulating means and sharing a packet separating means, a decoding means or the like. SOLUTION: A selector 107 selects one of transport streams with a command from a control signal input terminal 114 according to an indication from a system control part 113 and outputs it to a descrambling part 108. The descrambling part 108, packet separation part 109 and decoding part 110 descramble video and audio signals, select necessary packets, and decodes the video and audio signals or the like according to information from the system control part 113. Then an output process part 111 performs processes for D/A conversion or the like and then outputs the result to a television or the like through an output terminal 112. Thus, the selector 107 is provided to receive signals which are digitally modulated in various styles. |
