PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable restart by intermittently providing stator-side coil modules and moving element-side magnet modules respectively, and arranging them so that at least one of the magnet modules always faces opposite to a coil module. SOLUTION: For example, magnet modules 10 and coil modules 21 are provided intermittently respectively. Constitution is so made, that one or both of two, front and rear, driving gears provided on a running substance 5 always faces opposite to some coil module 21 provided on a guide rail intermittently. Furthermore, a magnet detecting sensor 22 for sensing the relative positional relation between a magnet module 10 and a coil module 21, a change-over means and a circuit for controlling current flow to each coil module 21 are provided. Consequently, an appropriate current to flow into each coil 2 successively can be generated, and to have thrust generated always in one direction. Accordingly, it becomes possible to perform restart, even after the running substance 5 stopped once. |
