PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the capacity of a line buffer. SOLUTION: This unit 10 is provided with a memory controller 12, a page memory 14, a line buffer controller 16, an odd line buffer 18 and an even line buffer 20 or the like. The line buffer controller 16 performs control so as to write odd-numbered pixel data in pixel data, which are outputted from the page memory 14, into the odd line buffer 18, simultaneously, to read even- numbered pixel data written in the even line buffer 20, to read the pixel data out of the odd line buffer 18 and simultaneously to write the even-numbered pixel data in the even line buffer 20.
