PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent each user from performing unnecessary received mail fetching operation by reading the time of access to an access point by a line connecting means out of a timer means, and storing and displaying the time. SOLUTION: A control part 1 connects a line to a provider by controlling a line control part 8, fetches mails of users having done received mail fetching instruction operation from the provider side, and stores the mails in a received mail storage part 41 of a data memory 4 so that they correspond to the users. Then the control part 1 reads the time when the process is completed out of the timer part 6, changes time data of the instruction operation users stored in an access time storage part 42 of the data memory 4 into the read time, and displays all the data in the access time storage part 42 after the change at a display part 7 together with information specifying the users.
