摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an eddy current probe which has a sufficient sensitivity to flaws of conductors, flaws of ferromagnetic bodies, stress concentration or the like structural abnormality, and can catch a degree and an area of the structural abnormality as an image. SOLUTION: Two coils 1-1*, 2-2*, 3-3* and 4-4* of an almost equal inductance are wound to each of two magnetic wire cores 10 and 20 of a high magnetic permeability bent in the U shape. Two wire cores 10 and 20 are arranged intersecting so that leading ends of the U-bent wire cores 10 and 20 are positioned to opposite angles of a square. The four coils are connected so that two coils 1-1*, 2-2*, 3-3* and 4-4* wound to the same wire core of the wire cores 10 and 20 become opposite sides of a bridge circuit. Two confronting terminals of four terminals of the bridge circuit are made application terminals for an a.c. voltage 30, and the other two terminals A and B are made detection terminals in this eddy current probe.
