PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the whole length of a small-sized motor, and to increase the strength of a pinion supporting part by fitting a pinion with its shaft to one end of a motor shaft, and supporting this pinion at its shaft with a motor housing via a bearing. SOLUTION: To a bracket 10-side end part of a motor shaft 16, a pinion 23 is fitted and fixed at its shaft by press fitting. The external peripheral surface of the toothless part 23a of this pinion 23 is brought into contact with the internal peripheral surface of a bearing 17 and is supported at its shaft by a housing 8. As a result of this, the pinion 23 is moved into the bearing 17, and the whole lengths of the small-sized motor is shortened. Along with it, it becomes possible to increase the strength of a pinion 23 supporting part, by using a bearing having a large inside diameter and outside diameter for the bearing 17.
