PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a flaw undetected area, to detect an infinitesimal flaw, and to improve reliability and accuracy of a flaw detection result in a pseudo- indication occurring state by altering a flaw detecting order of divided respective flaw detecting areas in a semi-random order according to a certain predetermined rule at each pulse. SOLUTION: Vibrating elements 2 of an array probe 1 are phase-controlled to emit a focused point 4 of ultrasonic beams 3 to each area of N-divided flaw detecting areas 10, the probe 1 is moved at each one pulse in a Y-axis direction, and N pulses are applied in one cycle to flaw detect. Then, a transmitting order is interleaved by considering a pulse repetition frequency(PRF), a flaw detecting speed, a width of the ultrasonic beam and number N of division of the flaw detecting area, and the areas 10 are irradiated with the beam 3 in this order. Thus, a flaw undetected area is remarkably reduced and minimized. |
