PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect not only coordinates but also relations corresponding to users, who designate these coordinates, in simple configuration even when the plural users simultaneously input the coordinates. SOLUTION: Plural electrodes 2 are provided on a transparent substrate 1. Besides, two coordinate instructing parts 7 respectively generate pulse signals in exclusive terms. When the pulse signal is generated by one coordinate instructing part 7 in a state of electric constant with one of electrodes 2, a signal is applied to that electrode. The electrode, where this signal is detected, is detected as a Y coordinate. Besides, since the electrode 2 has uniform resistance and the length thereof is known, a touched position on the electrode is found as an (x) coordinate from the current flowing to the voltage-applied electrode. Since the negative coordinate instructing parts have respectively different timing, these parts can be identified as well.
