PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a recording operation that a hindrance is not present even at the time of performing a high multiple speed recording even when there is a residual optical axis deviation in a device. SOLUTION: Relating to this optical disk recording method, in a recording method of an optical disk on which pits whose lengths are 3Ts to 11Ts (T is the reference cycle of a length in a track direction) are formed on a land by irradiating an optical disk with a light beam for recording, the sample-and- hold timing of a received optical signal for a tracking servo is delayed than the sample-and-hold timing of the received optical signal for detecting a wobble signal and also a sample-and-hold time for the tracking servo is set shorter than a sample-and-holding time for detecting the wobble signal.
