PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transmission monitor of a multiplex transmission system where a transmission state is specified by having only to see display contents without the need for state analysis through visual observation. SOLUTION: The transmission monitor 9 consists of an operation display section 90 comprising a personal computer and of a multiplex transmission interface 91. The multiplex transmission interface 91 consists of a multiplex transmission processing section 92 that is connected to a transmission line 3 and receives at least a time division multiplex transmission signal on the transmission line 3, a data storage section 93 that stores data included in the multiplex transmission signal received by the multiplex transmission processing section 92, a data analysis processing section 94 that analyzes a transmission state from the received data stored in the data storage section 93, an analysis result storage section 95 that stores the result analyzed by the data analysis processing section 94, and an operation display processing section 96 that displays the analysis result stored in the analysis result storage section 95 in response to a request by the operation of the operation key from the operation display section 90 onto the operation display section 90.
