PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sensor group-controlling device that is optimum for an application objective and can output target versus sensor assignment information for satisfying restrictions in terms of realization. SOLUTION: A sensor group-controlling device is provided with a plurality of target controllers 13 for outputting information regarding each target corresponding to a plurality of targets 1, a plurality of sensor controllers 12 for outputting each information corresponding to a plurality of sensors 2, a plurality of assignment effect calculators 14 that input the output of each target controller and that of each sensor controller and calculate each combination effect of each target and each sensor for outputting, a target function calculator 15 that inputs the output of each assignment effect calculator and calculates a objective function corresponding to a given virtual assignment for outputting, and an assignment determinator 17 that outputs the virtual assignment to the objective function calculator based on the objective function being outputted from the objective function calculator and at the same time outputs the virtual assignment at that time to each sensor as the target versus sensor assignment when the convergence of the value of the objective function is judged and the value converges.
