<p>An apparatus and method for simultaneously cleaning both the induction system and the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system (56) of an automotive engine (10) includes a duality of atomizer nozzles (88). One of the nozzles introduces cleaner into the induction system (24), while the other nozzle simultaneously introduced cleaner into the EGR system (56). Methods of cleaning engines using either engine vacuum or a source of pressurized fluid (i.e., pressurized air) to power the duality of atomizer nozzles are described. An atomizer assembly (76) which passes combustion air to an engine (10) being cleaned allows simultaneous cleaning also of the throttle body of the engine.</p> |
