PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to design the pattern layout forming a data signal transmission line. SOLUTION: The collector receptacle 20 is equipped with an engagement part 1b to which a connector plug is engaged, a plurality of contacts 2 each of which is connected to the connector plug engaged with the engagement part 1b, and a physical layer basic circuit 5 which performs specific processes accompanied by encoding and decoding so that data signals are communicated in series to the connector plug for each of the contacts 2 and also communicated in parallel to a link layer circuit for communication.
