PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable plural pieces of equipment to mutually communicate even when there is the presence of directional characteristics of transmission/reception equipment or obstacle in infrared data communication equipment. SOLUTION: This communication equipment is provided with a device for transmitting the identification information of the present equipment while utilizing a pair of infrared transmission/reception devices 30 and 40, a device 130 for storing the identification information of equipment directly communicable with the present equipment, a device for transmitting the identification information list of equipment directly communicable with the present equipment, a device 140 for storing the identification information of equipment indirectly communicable through the directly communicable equipment, a device for managing the state of a set communication path, a device 150 for transmitting data, a device 160 for receiving the data and a device for repeating and transferring the data. |
