<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a positive electrification electrostatic charge image developer having excellent heat roll fixing property and offset resistance, showing stable electrification behavior for printing a large number of sheets without splashing toner, and having excellent wear resistance. SOLUTION: This electrostatic charge image developer consists of color resin particles containing a binder resin, a coloring agent, a release agent and a positive electrification charge controlling agent and a resin-coated magnetic carrier. The aforementioned binder resin consists of a mixture of (A) a straight chain polyester resin having no THF insoluble content, 80 to 120 deg.C softening point and 45 to 85 deg.C glass transition temp., and (B) a crosslinked polyester resin having the THF insoluble content between >0 and <=20%, 130 to 180 deg.C softening point and 45 to 85 deg.C glass transition temp. The developer contains carnauba wax, montan ester wax and/or rice wax as the release agent.</p> |
