PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerative mode synchronous laser which uses a new Fabry-Perot filter that requires no RF band filter comprising Q which represents the quality factor of RF filter while no external resonator required, for automatic synchronization. SOLUTION: A fiber laser resonator comprises a gain medium for generating light, an optical coupler 5 for injecting excitation light and taking out output light, and an optical modulator for generating pulses, an optical delay 15 for adjusting an optical path length, a polarization adjuster 14 for adjusting polarization, an isolator 6 for specifying the propagation direction of light in the resonator, a bandpass filter 16 for specifying an oscillation wavelength, and Fabry- Perot filter 13 for fixing or varying a free spectral region(FSR). |
