摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing an optical component such as an optical waveguide enhanced in productivity. SOLUTION: This optical component manufacturing apparatus 1 has a feed roller 3 rolled with a processed body 2 of a polymer film having photosensitivity, a winding roller 4 for rolling the processed body 2 rolled in the feed roller 3, a light source 6 such as an ultra-violet light source for irradiating the processed body 2 with a light, and a mask 7 arranged between the body 2 and the light source 6. A pair of guide rollers 5a, 5b are provided as a drive means for the body 2 between the feed roller 3 and the winding roller 4. A rotational position sensor such as a photosensor for measuring a wound length, for example, of the body 2 is provided in either of the guide rollers 5a, 5b, and a rotation drive device for detecting the wound length measured by the rotational position sensor to be rotation-driven is provided in the winding roller 4.
