PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make light quantity distribution on a surface to be scanned nearly uniform by correcting the drop of light quantity at a peripheral part in the case of using an overfield optical system. SOLUTION: This optical scanner is provided with a 1st optical system 27 making luminous flux emitted from a light source means 1 incident on a light deflector 5 in a state where it is wider than the width in a main scanning direction of the deflecting surface of the deflector 5, and a 2nd optical system 7 forming the luminous flux deflected by the deflector 5 into an image on the surface to be scanned 9 through a reflection member 8. Then, the reflectance of the reflection member 8 is changed toward the periphery part from the center part so that the light quantity distribution on the surface to be scanned 9 may be nearly uniform. |
