PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and a film feeding method by which the change of the sensitivity of film made of heat developable photosensitive material is reduced, and to realize film replenishing work in a bright room while a tray part is kept in an opened state. SOLUTION: This image processor is equipped with the tray part which is filled with sheet type film, and the tray part can be set to a closed state and the opened state where the film can be fed. When the tray part is in the opened state and the film is not fed for a specified time or more, the tray part is set to the closed state. The tray part is kept in the opened state or set to the closed state according to the presence or absence of the film in the tray part. While a shutter member arranged in the tray part is slid, the tray part is set to the opened state or the closed state.
