PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water heater which realizes comfortable heating and the saving of energy. SOLUTION: In a hot water heater which supplies hot water to a radiator for heating to heat the inside of a room, a timer operation setting means is provided for heating operation at a preset hot water in at least two preset time zones or more. As a result, especially in a cold region requiring full-day heating, 24-hour continuous operation is accomplished with heating temperatures ideally set according to operation time zones. This can realize energy saving operation while maintaining comfortable heating without any touch of excessive heating during the ON period of heating nor any touch of excessive cooling during the OFF period of heating as in the past.
