PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a portable terminal by which a user recognizes an incoming call and convenience and services are improved by variably controlling the ringer of the incoming call in a simple portable telephone terminal at a receiver side by an operation of a telephone at a call originator side. SOLUTION: The prescribed button of an operating part in the simple portable telephone terminal PS1 at the call originating side is operated by depression so that additional information transmitted from the terminal PS1 is reported to the simple portable telephone terminal PS2 at an opposite party side by way of BS1 being a radio base station and a private exchange PBX. When the additional information is received, an incoming call sound is issued in incoming call ringer by a ringer sound even when the ringer state of incoming call ringer is set to a non-ringer incoming call state by a vibrator in the terminal PS2 at the receiver side. Therefore, the user can recognize the incoming call so that services and convenience are improved.
