<p>A fluid coupling assembly includes a first connection member (114), a second connection member (112), and a flow sealing member (116a, 116b). The first connection member (114) has an exterior surface (136), an interior surface (142) and a threaded through hole (138a, 138b) from the exterior surface (136) to the interior surface (142). The second connection member (112) has a first sealing surface (118) facing the interior surface (142) of the first connection member, and a first flow passage (120, 126, 122, 128). The first sealing surface (118) is rigidly fixed with respect to the first connection member (114). The flow sealing member (116a, 116b) has external threads (149a, 149b) that mate with the threaded through hole (138a, 138b), a second flow passage (162a, 164a, 162b, 164b) aligned with the first flow passage of the first member, and a second sealing surface (160a, 160b, 156a, 156b) that seals with the first sealing surface (118) around the first and second flow passages upon application of sealing force via rotation of the external threads (149a, 149b) in the threaded hole (138a, 138b).</p> |
