PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute an automatic clearing in accordance with the environment of an operator and to improve the operability by switching the condition that a mode is shifted to the automatic clearing in accordance with the setting of the effectiveness or the ineffectiveness of a human body detection means. SOLUTION: When the setting of a human body detection sensor is effective, an automatic clearing processing of the mode is performed if an automatic clearing condition 1 is held. The condition 1 means three conditions whether a machine is standing by, or a human body is detected, or the key of a control panel is operated. When the setting of the human body detection sensor is ineffective, an automatic clearing processing of the mode is performed if an automatic clearing condition 2 is held. The condition 2 means six conditions whether the machine is standing by, the key of the control panel is operated, a copying job is not interrupted, a selected paper feeding stage does not show the end of paper, a document is not set in an ADF or the paper is not left in a sorter. |
