PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control transmitter that easily informs a user of a battery replacement period by having only to use a function of the remote control transmitter. SOLUTION: The remote control transmitter consists of a power supply section 1, a voltage detection section 2 that detects a voltage level of the power supply section 1, a key entry section 3 to select an operation of an electric device, a control signal output section 4 that outputs a control signal, and a transmission section 5 that converts the control signal into a radio signal and outputs the converted signal. In a state of transit to a battery replacement notice operation through an output of a low level signal from the voltage detection section 2, the control signal output section 4 outputs a 1st control signal to allow the electric device to execute a selected operation by using the key entry section 3 with respect to one key entry, and outputs a 2nd control signal to allow the electronic device to execute other operations than the operation selected by using the key entry section 3 just after the output of the 1st control signal and executes a notice mode when the 1st control signal is again outputted just after the output of the 2nd control signal.
