PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dust-proofing device for a plasma display, capable of retaining sufficient air flow and preventing cooling efficiency from reducing by removing dust adsorbed to a dust collection filter or adhered to a cooling fan, at regular intervals. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element 6 is attached to a cooling fan 4, a voltage is applied to the piezoelectric element 6 of a prescribed frequency, thereby oscillating the cooling fan 4 at a prescribed oscillation frequency and removing dust adhered to the cooling fan 4 through the oscillation. Also, since a shutter is provided in an inlet port, a brush is attached to the inside of the shutter, which removes dust by brushing the dust collection filter, and the adsorbed dust is removed by brushing the dust collection filter whenever the shutter is opened and closed, sufficient air flow is retained and life time can be expected to be prolonged without degradation in cooling performance.
