PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency multiplex broadcast receiver which receives broadcast waves obtained by frequency-multiplexing plural pieces of information of digital audio broadcast, etc., and can simplify and miniaturize its configuration and the configuration of an external device to be connected thereto. SOLUTION: This frequency multiplexing broadcast receiver receives a broadcast signal including a data area including prescribed information on plural pieces of service information and an information area including information on service information, demodulates information included in the data area and the information area from the received broadcast signal, selects service information selected by a user from the data are based on information demodulated from the information area, and converts it to the data frame of an RDI form which arranges information (FIC data) demodulated from the information area, transmitter identifying information (TII data) detected from the received broadcast signal and selected service information (MSC data) in a respectively prescribed order and at prescribed positions to output.
