PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiograph processing method giving a high-quality radiograph by which structure noises and moire patterns associated with the formation of a microcell are not caused. SOLUTION: An electrical signal is obtained by radiating the beam of stimulating light to a stimulable phosphor sheet on which radiograph information is accumulated and recorded as a latent image and photoelectrically detecting the stimulated luminescence emitted from the sitmulabe phosphor sheet. The obtained signal is processed by a method constituted of (1) a stage for obtaining the intensity I(x,y) of the signal of a microcell by deciding the coordinate (x,y) of each microcell surrounded by a partition after detecting the signal of a grid corresponding to the partition and the intensity I of the signal between the grids, (2) a stage for obtaining the correction value of the microcell by an expression, the correction value=I(x,y)/I0(x',y') by using basic intensity I0(x,y) obtained by previous measurements and (3) a stage for obtaining pixel data by working and processing the correction value in accordance with the size of the microcell and the size of the formed pixel of the radiograph.
