PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disconnection point orientation system applicable for a transmission/distribution line of a three-phase four-wire system of a grounding system or a three-phase three-wire system, and capable of orienting accurately a disconnection point of the transmission/distribution line. SOLUTION: A detection line laid in parallel with a three-phase four-wire system transmission/distribution line of a grounding system is provided, and one end of the detection line is grounded, and a current measuring device 3 for measuring an induced current flowing in the detection line is installed on the detection line. Branch stations 1 equipped with a surge detection means 13 and a surge information transmission means 14b are installed on each steel tower of the transmission/distribution line or the like. Surge information from the branch stations 1 and induced current information from the current measuring device 3 are received by a key station 2 and operated, to enable to orient accurately a disconnection point of the transmission/distribution line.
