PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a measuring/providing action depending on individual preference with a simple operation, by performing the measuring/providing action based on a specified execution pattern from a plurality of execution patterns prepared with an execution pattern preparing means. SOLUTION: In this device, an execution pattern preparing means prepares a plurality of execution patterns having various measuring/providing contents. It contains methods, items, order, and accuracy of measurement and methods, items, order, and time of providing. Based on at least one specified execution pattern of them, a measuring/providing action is performed. An operating portion 38 connected to a controller 36 of a measuring unit 11 has a male switch, a female switch, a storing/calling switch, and A-D switches. A fluorescent character display tube of a display portion 39 has a character display portion. Therefore, a subject can easily select with a button operation which item (urine sugar, protein, or occult blood) is measured depending on his/her preference and how the measurement result is provided (display, storage, or writing to a printer).
