PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an obtaining means from extending to an extending position accidentally (vibration due to taking of seat or leaving one's seat) by making a keeping means keep an excreta obtaining means at an accommodation waiting position by a control means, when a prescribed condition is satisfied. SOLUTION: A urine sampling arm 32 of a rim-mounting-type urine sampling unit 12 is driven by a urine-sampling-arm driving motor 23 usually in two-phase exciting method, and is driven for normal extension, accommodation operation, or positioning at a constant speed. The urine sampling arm 32 at an accommodation position, due to vibration caused by opening or closing of a stool or a stool lid, or user's taking of seat or leaving of seat, during accommodation, displaces to reduce accuracy of urine sampling. Therefore, during accommodation of the urine sampling arm 32, a controller 36 controls so that a holding voltage is impressed on the urine-sampling-arm driving motor 23 (for example, with one-phase exciting) to keep the position. Thus, the urine sampling arm 32 is very accurately controlled coupled with an positioning effect, and displacement and nonrequired extension can be prevented.
