The invention relates to a method for coating a product (12) with a metallic layer (13), especially a high temperature component of a gas turbine, in a vacuum system (1). The invention also relates to a device for coating a product (12) with a metallic layer (13) in a vacuum system (1), comprising a coating chamber (3) and a post-heat retreatment chamber (5). According to a novel process control system concerning the temperature profile, a minimum temperature (Tmin) which is greater than room temperature (TR) is guaranteed at all times, especially after the metallic layer (13) has been applied to the product (12) and before the post-heat retreatment. |
