<p>A music box (10) plays music or another pleasant sound only when the lid (12) is opened. The music is stored in a memory device (100). This can allow for a selection of various songs or sounds, as well as selections of longer duration than typically found in standard mechanical music boxes. Likewise, the output from this memory device is triggered by a light sensitive sensor (102). The sensor can be located in the box or its lid, but it is located so that it is obscured from light when the lid is closed.</p> |
