<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an IC card reader-writer capable of inserting a card from both directions being one direction and the reverse direction and adding a new function such as card issuing. SOLUTION: This reader-writer is provided with a carrying path 11 of a card K and a holder 20 guided to a read/write position adjacent to the card K with guide holes 21A, 21B and (22A) while pushed by the card K carried from a front side insertion slot (12) toward the back (one direction). The holder 20 has an engagement piece 41 with which the card K is engaged and pivotally supports the piece 41 to the holder 20 in a freely turnable way so as to allow the card K carried from the rear side insertion slot (13) toward the front (reverse direction) to be passed.</p> |
