An improved method of forming vehicle pads to incorporate wire harness (54) includes molding the wire harness (54) with the pad (36) such that the wire harnesses (54) are embedded in the pad (36). In this way, the pad (36) may be integrally mounted with the wire harnesses (54), and there are less components to assemble. Moreover the sealing is better and there is less likelihood of unwanted noise. The pads are preferably under hood (36) or dash pad (40) applications for vehicles.
