PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test device that can be used for the test of a communication equipment for OFDM with a simple circuit by generating white noises, band-filtering the noises with a filter where a prescribed frequency band is set to be a pass band and checking the characteristic of a communication equipment through the use of an obtained pseudo multi-carrier signal. SOLUTION: White noises are generated, they are band-filtered by a filer where a frequency band occupied by a multi-carrier signal is set to be a pass band and the characteristic of a communication equipment is checked by using an obtained pseudo multi-carrier signal. In the device, the amplifier 31 of a noise amplifier 30 is terminated by a resistor R and the white noises generated by heat disturbance in the resistor R are sequentially amplified by amplifiers 31 and 32. The noises generated by the resistor R and are amplified by the circuit of a post-stage are band.limited by a filter part, especially the band pass filter and a signal where a similar waveform appears in the same frequency band as a real OFDM wave, namely, a pseudo OFDM wave is generated. |
