SOLUTION: Image information relating to photographing is transmitted from the digital camera to the printer, and in the case that the error is generated when the printer outputs images based on the image information, image information for displaying a message image indicating the type of the error and a countermeasure is transmitted from the printer to the digital camera. The digital camera displays the message image 301 including an illustration image 302 and a character image 303 based on the image information.
