PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an electronic component main body to be suitably aligned in a case, in a ceramic electronic component having a structure, wherein the electronic component main body to which a terminal member constituted of a metal plate is bonded is accommodated in the case. SOLUTION: Spacers 24-33 are formed of a parts of terminal members 3, 4. Intervals between inner surfaces 19-23 of a case 5 and an electronic component main body 2 and base parts 14, 15 of the terminal members 3, 4 are regulated by the spacers 24-33. When the electronic component main body 2, to which the terminal member 3 is bonded is inserted into the case, alignment such as centering of the electronic component main body in the case is enabled. Thereby working efficiency in a process which includes the electronic component main body 2 in the case can be improved, when a ceramic electronic component is manufactured.
