A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell characterized in that the material of the positive plate is a mixture of a first oxide being a spinel oxide substantially consisting of lithium, manganese, a metal different from manganese, and oxygen and a second oxide different from the first oxide and substantially consisting of lithium, nickel, cobalt, a metal different from nickel and cobalt, and oxygen.
