<p>The invention provides game apparatus which includes at least onereceptacle (12) typically in the form of a mug, glass, bottle or the like. Further, the game apparatus includes a plurality of scoring zones (20) positioned on the receptacle such that the level of a substance contained within the receptacle can be compared with the scoring zone. Each scoring zone (20) includes a zone marking (22) and indicia (24) associated with the zone markings (22). A game is played by consuming a beverage contained within the receptacle and comparing the level of the beverage remaining in the receptacle with the scoring zones and allocating a score accordingly.
