A telecommunication method in a global telecommunication network (5) enabling digital document editors to obtain information relating to the needs of users of said documents. The users can select the desired digital documents by means of requests that are evaluated by an engine in the telecommunication network. The engine selects the document from at least a number of digital documents which are made available by said editors that corresponds to the request in order to enable digital documents to be distributed to users that have submitted a corresponding request. At least part of the requests from the plurality of users is stored in a data bank in said telecommunication network so that when an editor makes a document available, the engine prepares a message to said editor relating to the requests that are stored in the data bank and which correspond to said document.
