A method for resolving conflicts among a plurality of electronic devices from which a plurality of interactive program guides are accessible. The method involves receiving a first request from a first interactive program guide, identifying a second request that conflicts with the first request, wherein the second request is received from a second interactive program guide and displaying at least one of the first and second requests for resolving the conflict.
