System improving performance of moving target discovery for moving phase array radar with several reception channels

The process selects first transmit lobe direction and determines the transmit parameters. A pulse of certain length and band width is transmitted at a mean frequency. Then the direction of the next and further transmit lobes is adjusted. Then the next and further pulses with corresp. parameters are transmitted .The aerial elements are focussed onto the mean value of the transmit directions. The reception array with specified reception width and scanning rate is then switched-on, while a specified reception lobe width is used for each sub-aperture. The received data are processed and stored. The obtained distance compressed data of several pulses are collected and separately space-time processed. An Independent claim is included for a processing installation.
