The valve has a magnet part (12) and a coil (16), a core (20), a flux control element (25) that interacts with the coil and a movably guided armature (27). A valve element (44) moving in a guide element (54) in a hydraulic part is acted upon by the armature to control pressurized medium connections between a feed line (57), a load channel (64) and at least one return line (58). The guide element has at least one vent (55) opening into the return line and shares devices (48,56) with the valve element for viscous damping of the valve element movement.
