The cleaning device has a long flexurally elastic cleaning probe(10) for inserting into the joint through the entry opening of the joint bridging structure. The external diameter of the cleaning probe is smaller than the internal diameter of the entry opening of the bridging structure. A drive unit(17) which is connected to the cleaning probe's outer lying end to rotate the probe around its rotational axis during the cleaning process.
