Carbon monoxide remover (1) comprises an air mixer (2) for mixing air with oxygen-rich gas containing carbon monoxide to produce a mixed gas, and a selectively oxidative catalyst device (3) for oxidizing the carbon monoxide. The mixed gas is fed through the selectively oxidative catalyst device. The catalyst device comprises a gas flow-through pipe (30) having a catalyst bed (40), and a catalyst mixing unit (50) for mixing a part of the mixed gas that flows away from an inner surface of the pipe, and the residual part of the mixed gas that flows near to the inner surface of the pipe.
