The wheel chair or similar has front (4) and rear wheels (5). It also has a lifting device (1) to lift it up a step (2), esp. a curbstone. The lifting device incorporates two projecting arms (3.1,3.2,6.1,6.2), which are fastened linear moveable and/or pivoted to the wheel chain, and extend over the curbstone before lifting. One arm is associated with the front wheels, the other with the rear wheels, and one of the arms is connected to a drive unit. |
