A nylon 'big bag' holding up to a ton of agricultural seed is partially discharged through a bottom-end funnel with a tube outlet. The discharge of seed is arrested by a scissor (10, 12) clamp with hand-levers (14) and a locking device (18, 20, 24). One half of the scissor-action clamp fits in a matching recess in the other half of the clamp.
