摘要 To lay the filament reinforcements at a tacky bellows, for an air spring, the bellows are placed on a spindle to be rotated by angular steps through a step motor. The separate filaments are drawn from their reels (12) over floating rollers (6), to pass through a pressure head (3) and be held by deflection grips (8,11). Pressure heads (3) are moved upwards on a given movement ramp to secure the filaments in the grooves of pressure rollers (4,5), so that they are pressed against the bellows (16). On reaching an end position over the spindle (15), the filaments are caught by an upper deflection grip (8) and the spindle is rotated by an angular step. At the same time, the pressure rollers (4,5) reverse and the filaments are cut by a lower hot blade (10) and they are caught by the suction of a lower carrier ejector (14). The pressure heads (3) move downwards, for the lower deflection grip (11) to catch the filaments, and the downwards movement of the filament reserve is used to lift the floating rollers (6) with defined weights. When the floating rollers (6) have reached a given level, the reel (12) unwinds filaments and the floating rollers (6) drop to a set level and the pressure rollers (4,5) reverse again. The upper hot blade (9) cuts the projecting filaments over the top of the spindle (15), with the cut ends removed by suction, and the spindle (15) is further rotated until the filaments are in the required lie. Two pressure heads (3) are used to press the filaments against the tacky bellows (16), moving on profiled rails. A precision pressure control valve maintains a constant pressure on the filaments by the heads (3). Each pressure head (3) has two pressure rollers (4,5) to give a constant filament guide action in an accurately defined geometry, while they are being pressed into place. Hot blades (9,10) are over and under the spindle (15) to cut the filaments.
