The method involves associating a separate pump (6,7) with an individual room to supply a heat transfer element (3,4) located in the room with a liquid medium at a feed temp. The temp. of the medium inside the heat transfer element is varied by mixing the medium at the return temp. with the medium at the feed temp using a bypass line (8) connecting the return line (5) with the feed line (2). An Independent claim is also included for heating or cooling system for a building or a vehicle with several rooms.
